This course needs either a portfolio submission indicating professional experience and an accompanying reel/resume, the successful completion of the Introduction to Real-time 3D and Virtual Production Certificate, or the Game Art & Animation Foundations course.
If you wish to bypass the introduction to the real-time course, you must demonstrate that you know how to use Unreal Engine and how to work with characters and animation in a real-time environment. You must provide a portfolio of work that displays your grasp of the course's themes.
These are some of them:
- Static meshes, skeleton meshes, and animations may all be imported.
- Different skeleton types may be retargeted.
- Experience with graph editor and sequencer animation combining
- Experience with level, character, and animation blueprints
- Understanding the Control Rig in Basics
You'll also need a computer that satisfies the minimal requirements (see next question).
